Hi, I’m Wendy, founder of Pink Dandelion Business Services, finance geek, problem solver, business cheerleader and (if you know me) a little bit of a business witch too ✨
I help growing businesses create clarity, structure and breathing room, whether that’s through bookkeeping, business consultancy or becoming the organised support behind the scenes that keeps everything running smoothly.

Running a business can feel overwhelming.
One minute you’re excited about growth.
The next, you’re juggling invoices, staff, systems, cash flow, admin and wondering if everyone else somehow got a secret business handbook you missed.
(They didn’t, by the way, though maybe I should write one?)
That’s where we come in.
My story
Business support wasn’t something I accidentally fell into.
I’ve spent over 25 years working in finance leadership roles within growing SMEs, supporting businesses with turnovers of more than £5 million and helping make sense of the numbers behind the day-to-day.
But my background goes far beyond spreadsheets.
Before Pink Dandelion, I worked extensively within hospitality, one of the most fast-paced, demanding and wonderfully chaotic industries out there.
I had the incredible opportunity to help set up and manage an award-winning wedding venue in South Wales, giving me hands-on experience of what it really takes to grow and run a successful business behind the scenes.
The long days.
The operational challenges.
Managing people.
Keeping customers happy.
Watching cash flow.
Making things work when things don’t go to plan.
In other words, I understand business in the real world, not just in theory.
And that experience shapes everything I do today.
Because business owners don’t just need someone who can “do the books.”
They need someone who understands the bigger picture.
Someone who gets the pressures.
Someone who can help untangle the chaos and create a plan.
Why Pink Dandelion?
Honestly?
Because I wanted to create the kind of support I wish more business owners had access to.
Practical.
Honest.
Supportive.
Without the jargon, judgement or overwhelming corporate speak.
Over the years, I saw so many brilliant business owners feeling stuck, overwhelmed or quietly burning themselves out trying to do everything themselves.
They were amazing at what they did.
But behind the scenes?
The business felt messy.
The finances felt confusing.
The systems weren’t working.
And they were carrying far too much on their own.
That’s why Pink Dandelion exists.
To help businesses feel calmer, clearer and more in control.
To help business owners stop spinning plates.
To create sustainable growth that actually feels good.
Why a dandelion?
Because dandelions are far more powerful than people give them credit for.
They’re resilient.
They adapt.
They grow in difficult conditions.
They spread and flourish.
And most importantly — they start small, but have huge potential.
Just like businesses.

Well… because the world needs a little more warmth, creativity and hope.

(And yes, I do get called “the dandelion lady” quite a lot!)
